Trans4motor - Engine Simulator App Reviews

12 add

Its alright

Can you guys put more honda motors in to it like B series motor

Great game, needs more.

This is such an amazing app. This thoroughly shows engines and their works; however, if you would add diesels (such as Cummins, Duramax, Powerstroke, and others, thatd be great) also 2 stroke engines and the Detroit 2 stroke diesel. And if you could add Honda engines and emphasize V-TEC.

Super!!!

Very nice! Thanks!

Awesome

Its really cool its very interactive

Great (But Not Perfect)

Great visuals and menu options including the ability to add/remove engine components. A major disappointment however is the accelerator control. You have to lay the mobile device flat to the point you cant look at the screen when accelerating. The inability to go through the gears with a speedometer is frustrating too. Tilt feature and engine sounds are both poorly made. Ironically you have to pay extra for something that should already be part of the SIMULATOR app. The Porsche 911 audio doesnt even sound like a boxer for example. Why are people having to pay for bad synthetic sounds when audio of the real cars could be used? Otherwise, this app could have been perfect...

Hey, you! Ducati engines were implemented!

I absolutely love this app! The sounds are nice, the visuals astounding, etc! And now, you have DUCATI BIKES! Insane! Keep up the good work! Engine suggestions (with sounds); Bugatti Veyron W16 Lamborghini Aventador V12 Subaru Impreza Boxer 4 2013 Ferrari F1 V8 (18,000 RPM REDLINE) 2014 Ferrari F1 V6 (15,000 RPM REDLINE) Lamborghini Huracan V10

Great app! But could use a some work.

Please add Diesel engines such as 5.9 liter cummins and the 6.6 liter Duramax. Also add more components like turbochargers and superchargers. And maybe make the engine building feature more useful by having the option to change the valve train from 2 valves per cylinder to 4 valves. And more option like that. Thanks for the app. Please continue to add new engines.

Excellent 3D 4-stroke engine animation

Very useful app for understanding cylinder layouts, timing cycles, and valve designs of various production automotive and motorcycle gasoline engines. It doesnt cover every engine in existence, but that isnt the point. It offers several pre-built variations of standard designs, but also unique features such as the Wankel engine, flatplane crank, and desmodromic valves. You can also adjust parameters to create other designs which is a great feature.

Very entertaining, few suggestions

I like this app, its very entertaining to mess around with. Can you please add W engines, diesels and 2 strokes too maybe? Also maybe add a setting that lets you view the animated engine at full speed instead of 1/10

Love it but it is missing one thing

I love the app, but it is missing one type of engine and that is the 16 cylinder 4 turbocharger engine that the worlds fastest super car called the Bugatti veyron uses.

TMT of EOL Repair

Most of the engines sound too similar. For the price its not worth it. The visuals are great but I just want more manufacturer option. For instance Kawasakis 636 engine in the in-line 4 option or Nissans older GTR engines the RB series in-line 6 option. The engine is one thing but the sound is everything.

Rpm gauge

Rpm gauge is so inaccurate please fix

amazing

I reccomend the pack for you this is educational and a game at the same time, so underatted

Not worth it !

This is bullshhhhht i thought that im gonna build engine but no !!!! they all sound the same he prolly got 2-3 engines sounds and out that to every engine ?!?!?! Developer what are u smoking on ? selling this app for 6 buks

I have a request

Could you make an update on this gam where we can actually have a 3D model of the car And Or add these engines and engine sounds: GMC youkon denali Chevrolet Camaro Chevrolet impala SS 2008 and Nissan maxima SV 2011 thank you

Not what you think

I bought this game thinking I would be able to create engines and sounds but no matter what you do it all sounds the same, I like the idea but need a lot more work

Add some stuff

List of stuff to add 1. 3 rotor engine 2. W engines 3. VR engines 4. Diesel Engines (1-24 Cylinders)

Awesome

I really like this app being able to simulate many different engine configurations, but with certain engines sound like a vacuum cleaner especially most 4 cylinders and up and you can’t really hear the way the engine is supposed to sounds. When synthesizing engine sounds the waveform should sound like a sort of percussive drum beat rather than a straight sine wave.

Rpm sound matching

I love this app, in fact I’m addicted to it. I just wanted to know how difficult it would be if the sound of the motor could realistically match the rpm for more technical reasons? Thanks!

Great app, however.

The CB 450 engine is depicted incorrectly. It has two valves per cylinder, and uniquely torsion bars for valve springs. Thanks

No

I need a refund

I really like this game

I really like this game but I really think you should make a two-stroke version of this game and have up to four cylinder two-stroke race bikes and like you can be able to make your own engines like small engines like weed eaters or anything like that that’s two-stroke and also

Could use an update

A few have mention stuff about diesel engines and all that. A few things that I would like to see... 1. Superchargers and turbochargers 2. Exhaust 3. W engines The app is great and I would 100% pay for the new features. Excited to see what’s next.

Add a sound

W16vengine sound please

Was it worth it?

The game definitely is fun at first while learning about the engines and its parts, i think they could have had a little more a variety and i wish they had added more to the game, so i would say the game is worth its price and it needs a little adding.

No sound bruh

I S GAME AND ENGINES but you have to pay to get SOUND!?!?!?!

I Love It!!! But...

I’ve had this game since October 2 of 2017 and I loved the hell out of this game. I first downloaded this game to see how a car works or other vehicles work and I was not disappointed. I’ve used this game to even help my self in the real world, I own a tiny little CRX and this app helped me with identifying certain engine parts. I just absolutely love this game to bits. But there’s just a couple of downsides, there are (currently) no turbocharger, or supercharger options nor is there Diesel or two stroke engines. I wish to see some of this stuff in the future and maybe even nitrous options or old WW2 radial engines in the game. I really really hope the developers are still here looking at there reviews and game, I will even pay for such options if the creator responds back in some way. I just really want to see this app grow larger as time goes on and this is kinda of my cry to the developer or developers of this game to make it much more interesting. I really hope they have read this review and have not given up hope for the app, but for now thank you. Lance Killian

I

It’s kind of garbage.

Pretty Cool

Beautifully rendered app. The interface is easy and the graphics are smooth and look great. No, this probably won’t help you with any kind of troubleshooting or simulated engine modification. Yes! It’s the best portable app I’ve seen to show someone the basics of what’s going on when they fire up their car. Plus, if you’re a gear head, it’s just fun to look at now and then. As another reviewer said, I’d like to see some diesels added including the opposing piston type. Perhaps a gas rotary piston engine. I’d also like removable layers for distributors/ignition modules, cam/crank position sensors, and spark plug wires. I’d even be willing to pay a reasonable amount to add these features to my existing app. I’ll update to 5 if this ever happens!

Pretty good but it still needs some work 😐

Please add the following: turbocharger/supercharger,W formation,16 cylinders and the ability to search for an engine

Pitts peak

I love the game very much so but if we could make turbos and boost pressure a thing I’d love a dyno tuning set up so I can see how much power is being put out and for the customer and consumer alike I’d like really high revving engines based on the crankshaft size that would make the game much better and a sweet shifting pattern you Could by for a dollar with the dyno for a dollar 💵 it is my dream to make Custom engines this game reminds me of opening up my own shop

Great app

I love this app. One thing I’d like to see added, however, is camshaft specs. A lot of engines have various camshaft specs and I’d like to have those customizable too

W layout missing

Great app! Although it misses the famous W layout the VW group is famous for. W12 & W16.

Absolutely Horrible

Junk don’t get this app!

Nice app, although the displacement calculation algorithm is a bit off

What I mean by it’s a bit off is a V8 engine with a stroke of 93mm and a bore of 94mm should have a displacement of roughly 5200 cc, not 5108 cc, please fix this so it’s more accurate. Other than that, it’s a nice little app

Good app but needs sound

It’s a good app but it needs sound I am visually impaired and I cannot see very well so I think this needs a little bit of sound per each engine please respond

Don’t buy if you think it’s more than a toy

It is little more than a child’s toy I was very disappointed. It presents as having features which allow some trouble shooting into engine configurations; it doesn’t. It’s just a smooth graphic algorithm that allows for a change in the number of pistons and there crank angle accompanied by some canned engine recordings.

A good foundation

This program is a good foundation to build on, and I’d like to see the developer add more control to it. Such as the ability to select a specific engine from a list. As well as the ability to edit each of the engine’s components. And generate a theoretical engine dyno test.

Not bad

Really good animation of several 5 stroke engines. In the near future I would like to see 2 strokes and more pre built engine models.

Thanks for the update!

This is one of those rare apps that really makes my boys think about how things work. I’m glad they can enjoy it in 64-bit!

More engines

Please add diesel engines

No sound...

$1.99 for sound

Deeecent

I personally love the app. I only wish it had more customization. For instance I was trying to replicate my engine and I cannot because the only option was a dual overhead valve system and mine does not have that. Maybe actually add the Ford 300. They were used in everything and they can't be killed.

Great app

I hope that u guys can add more engines like ford mustang coyote engine and Lamborghini engines

Sweet

Really cool app, great if you want to learn more about engine and they have a decent variety or engines as well. This app helped me get started and learn the most about the basics of an engine. Don't think it was worth paying for though.

Great game, needs more.
